    WHAT IS THE SLOGAN OF THE BID?

    The ambition for the FIFA World Cup 2034™, Saudi Arabia, its people and the global football community is defined by the bid’s slogan: Growing. Together. The slogan is supported by three main pillars - Growing People. Together.; Growing Football. Together.; and Growing Connections. Together.

    WHEN DID SAUDI ARABIA FIRST ANNOUNCE IT’S INTENTION TO BID?

    Saudi Arabia announced its intention to bid on 4th October 2023. A formal letter of intent to bid was then sent to FIFA on 9th October 2023. FIFA will announce the host nation during a FIFA Congress on 11th December 2024. More information on the process can be found on FIFA.com.

    WHAT ARE THE PROPOSED HOST CITIES?

    Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha and NEOM. They will also be supported by other host locations, that will mainly home to Team base camps – AlUla, AlMadinah, Al Baha, Tabuk, Hail, Umluj, Buraidah, Taif, Jazan, Al Ahsa.

    HOW MANY STADIUMS ARE PROPOSED?

    Our bid proposes 15 world-class stadiums across the 5 host cities. They include a combination of existing stadiums’ refurbishment (4), new stadiums under construction (3) and planned new builds (8).

    WILL THERE BE LOCATIONS FOR FANS TO CELEBRATE OUTSIDE STADIUMS?

    Each of the 5 host cities have 2 proposed FIFA Fan Festival™ sites that integrate digital and physical experiences into public celebrations of football where fans will experience Saudi Arabia’s vibrant culture and hospitality. FIFA will then make the final decision on 1 FIFA Fan Festival™ site per city.
